Healing and Visual Arts

I am committed to drawing your conscious self into alignment with the timeless wisdom of your soul. I strive to convey and facilitate the connection of ego consciousness to the transpersonal Self.

I’ve always envisioned exhibiting art as ceremony accompanied by sound. I explore that experience here. Please enjoy Spiritual Grounding Through the 7 Directions: A Shamanic Journey of Sight and Sound. **This is best enjoyed with noise cancelling headphones or an external speaker** Please enjoy. -Michael

Spiritual Grounding Through the 7 Directions: A Shamanic Journey of Sight and Sound

Picture
I am an artist, psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner and psychedelic integration coach. I identify as a Latino gay man (mixed race Colombian/Italian) and a bilingual Spanish speaker. I received a MA in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM; a BA from Swarthmore College in PA; apprenticed with master herbalists; and learned from shamans in the Peruvian Amazon and native elders in the American Southwest. Plant spirit medicines have been instrumental in my personal process and I counsel clients integrating their personal experiences. I'm an intuitive empath with a spiritual bent in my work. I describe my approach as Humanistic, Archetypal, Jungian, Somatic, Transpersonal, and Shamanic. Through this blend of approaches, we'll work to contextualize your experiences into the greater fabric/story/lesson/purpose of your life. I accept CareOregon and Aetna insurance at this time. I work in a tele-health model, and am based in Portland, Oregon. Please inquire into services, rates, and exhibiting, and art  through the "Contact" link below.
